Hourly Report

The following tutorial shows the specifics of creating an hourly report.

Step #1

To get to the page to create an hourly report, simply go to Reporting, then Hourly.

There is no default report page that comes up. To see the hourly report for the day, click Run Report. Now you can see the hourly report data for the day.  The daily report is broken down into three different categories: Summary, Performance, and the table of data. Summary shows important metrics such as clicks, total conversions, conversion rate, as well as payout/revenue metrics. Performance is a chart that shows how different metrics have been behaving. You can change the metric displayed on the graph by changing the Metric drop down menu. The table shows the raw data on the individual hours. You can order the table by any of the columns by clicking on the metric you would like to order it by. It is important to note that the hours are not clickable like the other metrics of other reports.

Step #2

To create an accurate report, begin with setting a date range. We set it to encompass the last month.

Pro tip - There are shortcuts for picking date ranges at the top. The shortcuts are Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Month to Date (MTD), Last Month, Year to Date (YTD).

Step #3

The next feature worth mentioning is Filters.  Filters allows you to narrow the data in the table by selecting certain metrics to be included in the report.

The following list are the filters available:

  • Offer
  • Advertiser
  • Affiliate
  • Creative
  • Offer Group
  • Campaign
  • Affiliate Manager
  • Account Manager
  • Billing Frequency
  • Business Unit

We selected a few offers (Bigmac Android, Candy Crush Saga, and Clash of Clans Android) to set as filters for the report. Click Save when finished. The filters will be listed underneath the date range, Filters, and Run Report button.

The next tab is Settings. This controls the Timezone and Currency of the report. Click Save when finished.

Step #4

Now that all the dates, filters, and settings have been adjusted, it is time to run the report. Do so by simply clicking Run Report.

The report now encompasses the last month but only with the specific offers that were chosen in the filters. These filters are also shown beneath the Date Range, Filters, and Run Report button.

After clicking Run Report, the final report will be generated and will look something like this:
