Posting conversions from Everflow to Google Ads

The following tutorial will show you how to implement conversion postback to Google Ads via HTML.

Firstly, please ensure that the offer is tracking via iFrame or image pixel.

In short, you will need two HTML tags from your Google Ads account, the global site tag and the event snippet. You will combine them and place the final tag in Everflow.

Here's the step-by-step guide:
1. In your Google Ads account, go to Tools and Settings:

2. Under Measurement > Conversions, you will retrieve both the global site tag and the event tag.

Below is where you will retrieve the global site tag:

You will retrieve the event snippet below:

Here's an example of how the tag should look after you combine the two parts:

<script async src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=AW-784480379"></script>
<script>
  window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];
  function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
  gtag('js', new Date());

  gtag('config', 'AW-784480379');
  gtag('event', 'conversion', {'send_to': 'AW-784480379/Sf72CICqi4sBEPvwiPYC'});
</script>

3. In Everflow, navigate to the postback tab under the relevant Partner page. Select add postback under conversion postback section.

Here, you can specify the offer and affiliate that the pixel applies to. Select HTML as Delivery Method, and paste the combined tag in the box under HTML Code. Once saved, you can test the pixel by going through the conversion flow.

Note: If the landing page for the offer is on a different domain than the page where the conversion happens, Google Ads will not accept the pixel fire.
