Share Offer Information with Partners Using Direct Message

Offer details such as tracking links, preview URLs, caps and payouts can now be used as macros in Direct Message, including in Direct Message Templates. Additionally, a Simplified Message Wizard has been added.

Feature Overview
Direct Message has been enhanced to allow sharing Offer details with the use of macros. The following three entry points can be used to access this new feature.
1. Offers - Manage > Share

2. Reporting - Offer > Contact. Here, you can pre-fill Offers and Partners in the message. Please note that recipients must be Partners.

3. Control Center - Direct Message > New Message > Offer Select.

As the use case for using Direct Message to share Offer information is quite different from traditional Direct Message use cases, a new message type which uses a specific form for sharing Offer information using macros has been added. Additionally, you can create a one-time unsaved recipient set to allow Users to quickly send a message without saving it.

1. On the Offers tab, you must select at least one Offer and then click Add to Inclusions in order to continue to the next step. You must also check the "Only share offers listed above" box.

2. Once you have continued to the Recipients tab, you must select at least one recipient before continuing.

3. You can add the new macros on the Offer Content tab which will be repeated for every Offer in the message. Content must be entered in the Plain Text field before continuing. An HTML version is also available.

4. Once you have continued to the Message tab, you can compose your message which must include a Subject and Plain Text Body in order to continue to the last step. Here, you can also enter HTML or use a custom template.

5. The final tab, Preview, allows you to view your Message before sending.

NOTE: A maximum of 100 Offers can be shared at once.

NOTE: Partners will only receive Offer data for the Offers they are allowed to run.
